KA was created by DAVLINS Fine Crafted Gifts of Wood, with stores in the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. See Davlins Stores.

Although Davlins' primary media is wood gifts, we've become one of the top scope retailers in the country. We work closely with some of the biggest names in the 'scope world, including Cozy Baker, the founder of the Brewster Kaleidoscope Society.

Davlins' own KaleidoClub, which features a semi-annual newsletter and a 10% discount, has grown to over 1,500 members in 9 years. (See How to Order and Register.)

Is all this talk about kaleidoscopes confusing you? Do you need more information on these incredible optical instruments? See F.A.Q.'s., for Frequently Asked Questions about kaleidoscopes.

If you have an inkling to try your hand at creating a scope or two, some of the books and supply companies on our  Resources can help you. This is also the page to find links to other kaleido-sites on the web.

Davlins' annual National Kaleidoscope Exhibit gathers more than 200 of America's hottest new scopes at one of our three stores, drawing collectors from all over the U.S.

See also our Special Events page for listings of scope-making classes, annual exhibits, and more.

Our revised Featured Scopes area lists our artist pages (with thumbnail pictures) for some of our most popular artists.

Have you heard of or seen the work of an artist not shown on our Featured Artists Page? We have access to over 150 kaleidoscope artists around the country, giving you the chance to buy almost any scope that's currently available! See our Artist Listing. for the names of all the scope-makers from whom we order.

Now that learned all about scopes, and seen a few, how about a kaleido-game? Our Game Page invites you to match up a few images and test you scoping skills.

If you have some comments or suggestions, such as new artists for our Artist List, or a Kaleido-Website to add to our Resources page, see Comments.
